The Bohemian Gothic 4th Edition Tarot: Here is an opportunity to own the highly collectible, NEW, SEALED, 4th Edition of this cult deck that is a deeply atmospheric set of cards steeped in the dark romanticism of Victorian Gothic fantasy.  The imagery is designed to be evocative of the work of Edgar Allen Poe, Bram Stoker, Sheridan Le Fanu, Mary Shelley, M. R. James, Henry James, Robert Louis Stevenson and their contemporaries.

Deck Details:

  • 79 Fully illustrated cards (including the title card).
  • Many changes from the earlier editions – these vary from slight alterations of color to extensive reimagining of the imagery.
  • Generous card size of 128x78mm (a little over 5×3 inches)
  • Cards are printed on high quality 330 grm playing card stock with an inner carbon layer.  This protects against bends, and tears.
  • All cards are now cold-stamped. They done this in a slightly new way, so that it works well with these images. It gives and almost 3 dimentional and rather magical quality.
  • This standard editions deck comes in a stained wooden box with a silver title and graphics. These boxes are made specially for Baba Studios in Czech Republic.
  • Instruction booklet included.

BabaBarock reissued this cult deck in a new forth cold-stamped edition. It’s a deeply atmospheric set of cards that’s steeped in the strange romanticism of Victorian Gothic fantasy.

• 79 fully-illustrated cards (not including title card)

• Large card size — 128*78mm (a little over 5*3 inches)

• Cards are printed on high quality 300 grm playing card stock with an inner carbon layer. This protects against bends and tears.

• Instruction booklet is included.

• Besides the cold stamping, several cards have been changed from the third edition. In most cards these are small changes of colour and lighting. In others, they are more significant.

• The cards come in a solid, wooden box.

• There is one extra card, the Lovers, based on the image from the first edition, that can be used as a bookmark or framed or, if you prefer, of course included in readings.
