The Victorian Romantic Tarot has since its original publication become one of the most well-loved and used tarot decks, establishing a reputation for its readability and depth.

This print run was only 750 decks and was sold out in days!

It is a SEALED, signed and numbered Limited Edition.

With Baba’s Limited Editions, they guarantee never to reprint that edition. So now that these decks are gone, no more will ever be printed. It’s that simple. They have never reprinted a Limited Edition deck, and never will.

This is truly out of print and a valuable collectible!

The Victorian Romantic Tarot by Baba Studios: After a huge amount of inquiries Baba Studios has made a fourth (and probably final) edition with metallic overlay in many shades. This is designed by hand, so that it’s subtle enough to suit the theme but still adds a touch of glamour.

  • New 4th edition has several changes to the imagery since the third edition. Mainly, they have made the deck more inclusive, the cold-stamping is more prominent than it was in the previous edition, and the back is a new design.
  • The fourth edition has two different ‘Emperor’ cards, two different ‘Devil’ cards and three different ‘Lovers’ cards – plus, 7 addition bonus cards!!! (For 90 total cards including the title Signed and Numbered title card.)
  • Also the LIMITED EDITION ONLY will include a new version of the Mermaid and Bacchus card!

They won’t be repeating this version, which is one of their guaranteed limited editions. The print run was only 750 decks! This is a signed and numbered Limited Edition.

More details:
  • It comes in a beautiful wooden box (carefully made in Czech Republic) and for the first time for one of our decks, there is a choice of colour of the embroidered foldover pouch that comes with the deck.
  • Large format fully illustrated cards, 165 * 100 mm (about 6.5 * 4 inches).
  • Printed on 330 gram European playing-card stock with an inner core to protect against bending and folding, and cut by a traditional method.
  • Varnished with semi-matte varnish so that the varnish is not too shiny.
  • Gorgeous, carefully designed metallic overlays (these are actually printed on the card UNDER the other inks and varnish) – this gives the impression of metallics in various colours so is spectacular. It is NOT actually metal though, so there are no metal-allergy issues.
