OOP SEALED ~ Tarotbot Black

From the creator:

I launched the original Tarotbot in 2019. It went well. With the help from the Kickstarter and Tarot community, I was able to get them printed and shipped out.

Having never produced a deck of cards before, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.

That being said, there were a few things that I was not personally satisfied with.

First – the box. The box was not what I had imagined at all, and I felt that I could improve on it drastically. The new box is a more sturdy box with a top and bottom. It will be matte black with uv coating accents.

Second – the accompanying booklet. This was a small insert that provided some great information, but it wasn’t very substantial. Not a lot to it. The new booklet is a guide to the major arcana. While the majority of the pages are dedicated to the Major Arcana, there will also be meanings for the suits and the bonus cards as well. Is will conveniently fit in the box with the cards and will be about 26-30 pages long.

Third – the finish. I got them glossy. A lot of people really love the gloss, but I felt like it may be a little too much. I want to see what it will be like in a matte finish.

Fourth – the lack of borders. I had originally designed my cards with borders, but changed my mind midway through the last campaign. While I still love the borderless version, I have a feeling that the black borders will help everything pop.

With all of these changes, I still wanted to add a little extra to make this version stand out from the original. Here are some more changes.

Backs – Instead of the gold foil stamping, I am opting for a black foil stamping. I have a feeling it will give them a unique quality that is not found in a lot of decks.

Bonus cards – With the last printing, I includes 4 unique bonus cards – This time around I am adding an additional 6 bonus cards for a total of 10 bonus cards.
