Northern Animal Tarot Deck, a wild anthropomorphic deck that stretches the imagination and travels through fairy-tales dreamed long ago.

From the Creator:
Northern Animal Tarot was inspired while I was learning the Rider Waite Smith deck and I just wasn’t connecting with any of the humans on the cards. I kept wishing for animals and fairytale creatures to be on the deck. So I set about making this deck!

I’ve always been drawn to folktales and fairy-tale art works and I’ve always enjoyed tarot ever since I was young. About 5 years ago I started trying to learn the Rider Waite Smith cards properly, rather than just reading the cards as though they were parts of a picture book. Animal stories, fairy-tale and folklore are all about learning to listen to your intuition. I still see tarot like a book without its binding, that you can shuffle new stories every time you reach for your deck. It’s a personal journey with the cards every time.

3rd Edition Deck Edits and Changes:

  • There are now a 100 cards in the Northern Animal Tarot deck
  • This deck is packed with extra cards to enjoy! Moon phases, seasons, shadow cards and a few more!
  • 3 Spread cards to layout beside your spread. Making it easier to read your cards.
  • This 3rd edition has a updated little white booklet with more info on the animals and and extra cards.
  • All decks will be numbered due to the small limited edition print runs.
  • 100 cards are in the Northern Animal tarot deck. 79 classic tarot cards and 17 oracle cards.
  • The NEW card is Fairyland plus moon cards, season cards, shadow cards, and some extra spread cards too!
  • Bright and bold colors spill from each card showing all the hidden images and symbols the cards hold.
